Theo is a seasoned professional with a 30+ year career spanning law enforcement & criminal intelligence, protective security, and cyber & information security strategy, policy, governance risk & compliance in global financial services, consulting to Victorian Government and energy sectors, and the Australian Government, educating and advising risk committees, senior executives and boards across industry and government on security and intelligence matters.

Theo Nassiokas is the Co-Founder & President of Cyber8Lab Australia and Malaysia. He has educated and advised committees, executives and boards in industry and government on security and intelligence matters globally, including Australia, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Japan, Middle East, and UK.

A member of the Australian Government's Senior Executive Service (SES) at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as Assistant Commissioner, Cyber Governance, Theo led a branch of 120, delivering cyber security GRC (governance, risk & compliance), including vendor assurance, PSPF (Protective Security Policy Framework) assessments, risk assessments, IRAP (Information Security Registered Assessors Program) certifications, scams monitoring & intelligence, security architecture, strategic sourcing, policy & advice, and program governance.

Theo is also a technology risk leader with 23-year pedigree, previously in Australian and global financial services organisations, based in Australia and abroad, building multijurisdictional and multicultural teams, with a passion for explaining the business impact of cyber and technology risk by contextualising it to business objectives, linking risks to deficient controls, aligning capability to regulatory obligations, and devising risk mitigation and resilience strategies.

Theo holds an MBA (Tech Mgt) from La Trobe University awarded in 2006 and is one of 18 an inaugural Fellows of the Australian Information Security Association (FAISA). Prior certifications include Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International, held from 2000 to 2021 (resigned) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, held from 2007 to 2020 (resigned).

Daisy has more than fifteen years’ experience in the Information Communication Technology and Security.

Daisy coordinated several Security Assessments and Attack Surface Analysis Projects and conducted numerous Cybersecurity trainings, cyber drills, table-top exercises, cyber-challenges, forums and talks including high-level briefing and presentations on Cybersecurity Framework, International Cooperation, Incident Response and Crisis Management, Cybersecurity Treat Landscape, and Awareness in Australia, United Kingdom, South Korea and Malaysia. Her clients include but not limited to the Financial Institutions, Transportation, Oil and Gas, Mining, Marine, Telecommunications, Health Sector, Universities and Government Agencies.

Daisy is a Certified Cyber Defender Associate (CCDA). Holds various cybersecurity certifications including the Fundamental Certificate in Information Security, (GCI, UK), CSIRT/SOC Establishment and Modernisation from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Academy, Geneva and Certification in Developing and Designing the Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Applications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. Daisy is currently a member of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA) and Australian Women in Security Network (AWSN).

Shane has more than 15 years of driving profitability and growth in multiple international businesses.

He is a well-versed in driving the strategic vision, developing strategic budgetary plans, aligning financial performance to goals, budgets, and forecasts, as well as identifying and mitigating financial risks.

His current responsibility is managing the company’s financial actions and monitoring its overall performance.

Elizabeth has more than 22 years of working experience mainly application development project specializing in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and recently venturing into Big Data Analytic arena. She has been involved in a number of ICT projects across different industries particularly Public Sector and Banking. Her knowledge is focusing in Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, Business Intelligence, and Data warehousing to provide consultancy services related pre-sales activities, end-to-end project implementations including technical training.

She has obtained PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management, Certified Data Science Specialist and certified MicroStrategy Certified Project Designer 9.4.1 (MCPD).

In her previous roles of Pre-sales Senior Consultant, Project Manager, System Analyst and Analyst programmer in her earlier career with 3 IT companies consist of Theta Technologies Sdn Bhd, Fujitsu Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Xybase Technolgies Sdn Bhd.
