Great event run by Daisy and her team. Enjoyed the day with people who are or would like to work in cyber security. You shouldn’t expect to successfully execute a cyber attack response without drills. If your organisation does not run cyber attack response drills, you should encourage staff to attend this type of event when they are offered. For bigger teams maybe contact Daisy to run the scenarios for your teams in your organisation, looking forward to the new SCADA modules next year.

C.A.R.D. has provided me some very useful tips for tackling cyber attacks. The hands-on drill is really helpful as it shows us what to expect in the real life situation.

C.A.R.D is an informative and practical drill. Cyber8Lab has set up all the necessarily tools (mail, irc, vm,wireshark, etc.) for the drill so we can start immediately, no set up time needed on our machine. We’ve learned phishing, web defacement, and network intrusion throughout the drill. The facilitator is experienced and knowledgeable in cyber security. He provides us a further explanation on the topic when we have a question. I’ve got a better idea on cyber security after attending this course.
